How good is the nightlife in Boston? Can any of the clubs compare to those in Las Vegas?

Boston is kinda notorious for wrapping things up early. Nothing like Vegas.

That's like comparing apples to water buffalos.

No. Not close. This is not Vegas.

If you want entertainment go to Vegas. If you want to make an impact go to Boston (but bring your thinking and political cap),

I've been to Vegas a few times and think it is tons of fun. But it is far from Boston (fun/entertainment Vs. real world impact).

Most clubs are not open 7 nights per week. Just a few nights usually. Probably similar to most other cities except the best nightlife cities?

Even bars around Fenway Park and the Faneuil Hall area are often closed at 1 a m. or so Sunday to Wednesday nights, even when college students are in session.

Not even the clubs in NYC compare to Vegas. Not that I'm complaining since I generally dislike them. But outside of Miami you won't find that anywhere else in this country.

I met someone who moved from Boston to Las Vegas to advance his career as a chef. He seemed to like Vegas very much so I assume that nightlife is overall much better there.

Nightlife in this town - Boston - is dependent on who you already know. They will provide you with the good time. Going into town with objective of meeting someone new is highly unlikely. Also this city is not going to entertain you on its own (and with your $$$) like NYC or Las Vegas. You need to know people to have fun at night in Boston and not be bored.

Yes, people go out to the bars with their friends and for the most part stand around in circles and talk to their clique, occasionally looking up to watch sports on TV. Although now there's Cornhole at a few places.

But that's pretty standard in most cities and towns throughout the country. Places like Vegas or Miami Beach are exceptions.
