Hello again everyone,

based on your advice in another conversation I've told my friend to look in Quincy and she is enthusiastic about it.

I found this that seems to meet her criteria, but what could possibly be wrong with it? It's been on the market for 2 months:

It looks like it was pending last month and the sale didn't materialize for some reason.

It's in Quincy center, so I guess it would be convenient.

It's new construction, it was probably listed for sale before it was actually complete. Nothing unusual about 2 months on the market.

Because They are saving it for me.

Jokes, but it looks like the offer didnt go through/financial issue. Also redfin may not be always up to date.

She's talking to her agent about Quincy. Floods are a concern though.

In Quincy?

I don't know Quincy all that well but this property doesn't seem to be particularly close to any bodies of water. Is it in a low lying area? No mention of flood insurance in the listing.

Seems like a lot of that flooding is along the shore which makes total sense and I would expect that. Not sure I would expect the same in Quincy Center. Is the Quincy Center T station underground? Maybe that's why it flooded?
