It appears the thread was reawakened by a new user. I've noticed that this is usually the case with old threads that suddenly reappear. No big deal. I know I did that once or twice myself as a brand new newbie here. It was like being a kid who's just gotten a new toy. I wanted to get in and give my two cents. It took a little time to be more judcious about not making posts when the thoughts I had in mind had already been expressed, and to avoid reopening old posts.

But, this is an old post. As Holden points out, the girl has probably already made her decision. Heck, by now she may already have started college.

Yes, also the Mass forums aren't very active, so they might not have realized how far back they reached.
