Not in quite yet, my closing is at the end of May. I've been to the place a couple of times (home inspections, etc.) and each time I walk away more and more excited about it. I'm on the very edge of the Roxbury/JP line, on the Roxbury side. I've learned that there are more conversions coming as well - aside from the JP-side lofts in the former brewery, there are more loft conversions on the way and in addition to the 3 or 4 "flips" on my street I know there is at the very least one vacant lot that will have a new home built and the building next door to mine will also be rehab'ed. It's gonna take a long while, but once the area starts its revitalization I believe Fort Hill will be a great area.

The only downside (for me) is the dependence on my car (no real walkability to stores and services), but the compromise is worth it in my opinion.

If you're thinking about the Fort Hill neighborhood, at least go and take a look.... nothing to lose. If it's not for you there are a zillion other neighborhoods.
