I am moving from Boston to Chicago in early/mid August. I am looking to share moving costs with someone, as I only have bedroom furniture. Any suggestions about how to find others in the same boat?

I just did the same move last Aug (Boston to Chicago), but ended up selling the majority of my stuff since I didn't want to pay to move my second hand junk across the country. you could try Craigslist, maybe under Rideshare section in Communities, but honestly, unless the stuff would be very expensive or very hard to replace, I would just sell it and mail some of the small stuff to your Chicago address.
whatever you decide, good luck and welcome to Chicago! |

Any chance in driving west to BUffalo, NY thru Canada to Detroit to drop off furniture in my new place? Detroit will be on your way to Chicago. Let me know if interested and the associated costs.
Thanks |
