Default Transportation options for family of 4 from Logan to Fenway area?

Hi,

My family, consisting of 4 adults, is visiting Boston beginning this upcoming weekend. They are flying into Logan from London, UK on Sunday.

They each have a suitcase and hand luggage, thus one taxi will not be sufficient to bring them to my home near Fenway.

As two taxis will cost ~$60 in total, I was wondering if there was any cheaper option that I could use. They do not want to use the subway/MBTA bus as that would involve changing trains/buses

Do you know of any shuttle service that would go from Logan to a hotel near Fenway or door to door? Does Zipcar can rent a minivan/large SUV? Any taxi companies/limo companies that are not overpriced that can help me with this?

Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Andy

My dad has a livery car business and does this sort of thing a lot (I'm not a spammer I swear! ) His company's info is @ JB Livery Service - Service to Logan and the World! Tell them Jim's daughter Ryan sent you and they should give you a good deal :-)

Default Options

Hi,
Sometimes you get lucky at the airport and can get one of those taxis that's a minivan. They don't cost more than a regular sedan. I don't know if you can specifically request one of those while in line for a cab at Logan though.

Zipcar does rent minivans, but they're probably $15/hr, and with big late fees, you'd probably end up needing to reserve for 3-4 hours anyhow.

Good luck!

You can request a van taxi for an extra five dollars. I have found Boston Cab to be the most responsive company but Town Taxi is also a large cab company.
