Default Moving to Boston from New Zealand

Hi, hoping that someone may be able to assist...

Looking at relocating for work and am trying to find out what I will need to pay in rent to get:

- 3 bedroom house with backyard.
- No more than a 30 min commute to Boston Common area.
- Don't want to have a drive to public transport (as this will mean a 2nd car).
- House approx 1500 sq m, block approx 5000 sq m.
- Have 2 kids (2yr and 4 yr) so family friendly area.
- Kids mean that night life isn't that important but would like to be able to walk to a cafe, etc on the weekend.
- Don't want to live in a sprawling, drive everywhere type area.

Any suggestions on price and area would be greatly appreciated.

Try Newton or Brookline, although both of those are quite expensive. I think you are looking for a 1500 sq ft. place, as that is a reasonable size for 3 bedroom. 1500 sq. m is about 16000 sq. ft which would make it one of the biggest houses in the state.
