Have never heard of that park, but your best bet would be to consult the Website for the Merrimack Valley Transit Authority. Commuter rail to Lowell operates out of North Station in Boston (mbta.com for schedules.)

LeLacheur is the stadium for the Lowell Spinners.

You have to get to North Station first, which is a bit of a pain from that hotel. By transit it's probably best to just walk up to Downtown Crossing and take the Orange line toward Oak Grove. North Station to Lowell is generally about 45 mins. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the Lowell commuter rail station to the stadium, or there is a downtown connector bus every half hour or so that frankly takes as much time as walking as the route is circuitous. I think there is also the 7 bus or something that is more direct, maybe 5-10 mins. Some people prefer the bus as they are not nuts about walking through downtown Lowell. You could also grab a cab most of the time at the Lowell station.

BTW, it is not the Merrimack Valley TA, that is in Lawrence/Haverhill. Lowell has its own authority, the LRTA.
