Default Fenway Park from Baltimore Help!

I driving up from Baltimore to Fenway Park on August 2nd and need to know the scoop on where to park and such. I'm thinking of finding the cheapest hotal I can find near public transportation and riding in and out. So, my question is, Does anyone know where I could stay for really cheap close to public transportation that goes to Fenway. What is the name of the rail I should take? Any help would be great thanks.

In the city, you'll take any Green Line train except the "E" train to Fenway/Kenmore, from there just follow the massive crowds wearing Red Sox hats to the park. I don't know of cheap hotels outside of the city, but if you want a cheap place to stay in the city, within walking distance to Fenway, check out the Boston hostel. Parking might be an issue there though. I used to live in the neighborhood and it was a pain. Taking a bus from Baltimore would be convenient, if you want to stay in the city.

Also checkout bed and breakfast places in Brookline along Beacon St. Some might be even close enough to walk to Fenway. Otherwise "C" train goes along Beacon into Kenmore.
As already mentioned, parking is a major pain. Specially in Brookline becase you can't leave your car parked at the meter at night.

If you really want something cheaper and you're not picky about getting a place that's super-ritzy there is a Howard Johnson hotel right there on Boylston Street one block from the park. They have a parking lot too so you won't have to worry about your car either. Plus you can get wasted at the game and stumble back to the hotel in 2 minutes!
