Question What stores provide free furniture delivery to Boston?

Are there any? Does Cardi's? Any others?

not sure about free (you have to figure they'd want to be compensated for gas and the work), but lots of furniture places do offer delivery

Cardi's does not. You can drive down to Swansea and pick it up for free, but you can't pick anything up from their Braintree store.

Free delivery is kind of a gimmick, though. Just add any possible delivery costs in to the final purchase price and then you'll have effectively "free" delivery.

There is no such thing as "free delivery" it is included in your price.

You mention Cardi's, so I assume you're familiar with Rhode Island. I would recommend Jordan's furniture, locations are in Avon, Framingham and Nashua; a visit to one of these stores is is also entertaining. I haven't been to Bernie & Phil's but I know there scattered around the area.

Given the current economy and slumping retail sales, any furniture store that refuses free delivery does not deserve your business. Especially if you buy more than one item.

Play hardball.
