Yes. Probably one of the safest in the city.

[edit]

Also, I think the walks to Newbury and the theater district would be a solid 15. Nice walks though.

Ha, you are probably right. I work at MEEI and walk to the Back Bay T stop every evening, but I have long legs!

Yes, very safe. It's right near Mass General Hospital, so there's always security around! Beacon Hill is a super fancy neighborhood, you'd have little to worry about.

I don't know if you can get a corporate rate, but Jurys in Back Bay is awesome...I always see a lot of young people (euro-gorgeous types) hanging out in that area. Their corporate rate is in your price range and it's a gorgeous, cool hotel. Nice comfy coffee bar, with fireplaces and plush couches...for nursing hangovers the next morning. Good luck and have a great time.

I was thinking steak, but I don't imagine steak being any better than here in the land of meat (TEXAS), so maybe a restaurant with good lobster? Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks.

I would go to the Summer Shack for seafood. It's right around the corner from your hotel, has great lobster and oysters, and has a great bar/bowling alley next door called Kings (I think ) that seems popular.
