I completely agree with you about the prices of tickets and dealing with some of the people. For the worst seats at Gillette it is $90, plus another $40 to park. That is outrageous and then to deal with a bunch of drunk fans, many who were yelling and didn't know what was going on half the time. I like the Patriots but would much rather watch them on TV. I think hockey is actually a good sport to watch live but boring on television.
Personally, give me good college football anyday. I'll take an SEC football game over any sports up here.
It will be interesting to see when the Red Sox and Patriots start to stink how many people will stop watching or going to the games. Before last year Celtics tickets were easy to get and nobody paid attention to them.
