LOL

Also...the Apollo moon landing was hoaxed, the CIA was behind the Kennedy assassination, Bush ordered the 9/11 attacks, and little green men were found in Roswell New Mexico.

Yeah, have fun in Vegas. 90 degrees ain't bad. Try 110. Everyday. For days on end. It's terribly hot. And if you think Boston is unsafe, have you ever noticed how many episodes of Cops are in Vegas? Haha. . . I know that isn't violent crime, but it just goes to show that it just attracts people to get into sh*t.

While I realize that not everyone can live in Boston proper, if you are smart with your money and find a good deal, you could probably make a safer neighborhood work. There are plenty that aren't in Boston proper but are lovely and affordable.

Anyways, you guys enjoy Boston while you can. I know this is not the place for me. I'll be enjoying 90 deg. weather in Vegas while you shovel snow and unfreeze your car and use extra layers of clothes
^^^ Wow. So much illogical thinking in this post! If you want safe, Vegas definitely isn't the place to go. And you are truly nuts if you believe that there are any unreported homicides in the Boston area. What about the family and friends that they leave behind? You don't think that they would just stay silent if there was a coverup?

BTW what do you do for work?

OMG, VEGAS!?!?? don't you realize that 10 people die there EVERY SINGLE DAY? seriously, dig around the desert a bit and see what you find...Nevada deserts= nation's largest graveyard

hate to break it to you, but "Casino" was pretty true to life, and if you think a bunch of teenaged gangbangers are bad, just wait till you deal with the mob and corrupt casino bosses.

oh, and I hate to tell you this, but after being scammed by that MIT blackjack team, casinos regularly take people from Massachusetts outside and shot them execution style, especially Bostonians (they train workers to keep an ear out for the accent). these crimes aren't reported of course since it would have messed up the box office intake from the movie "21".

swear to ya, it's true

You don't have to live in Boston to be a fan of their sports. You just have to suck at life and always root for the best team out there. Because you know, just picking the best team and going with them brings all the rewards of sticking to a team through all the bad years and then seeing them win finally knowing you are are a true fan.

No, it's better to live in Cali or Fla and by a Sox hat because it's the thing to do, then root for a team from a remote city for no reason other than its the thing to do and its easy.

People suck.

Ok my rant is done, sorry guys, I get fired up over this stuff.

Please, I lived in Boston in the early 90's when very few people went to Fenway to root on the Sox. I use to walk to Fenway, pick up tickets at the gate, and catch about one game a week. The place was a ghost town except for Wade Boggs, old men from Southie, families from Brookline, and myself. Try going to a game now, it's full of suburban kids, pink hats, and overpaid John Hancock employees. EVERYBODY in eastern Mass is a 'fan' of the Sox. If you can even call them that.

Just be sure you lock your doors and try not to get shot. According to the FBI crime stats, the murder homicide rate in Las Vegas metro is 8.6 per 100,000 compared to Boston's 2.8 per 100,000. That is 3 times higher than Boston's rate.
