whatever happened to that free furniture promo? (store, pay)

I was just randomly thinking today about that promotion from a few years back for free furniture if the Sox won the Series (which they did, I just can't remember if it was for the first time or the second). I can't remember which furniture store was doing it, but I was wondering if that was ever payed out? I don't remember hearing much about it after the fact

It was Jordan's, it was last year, and they did pay out. They've done it again this year, but the Sox have to sweep the World Series for you to win.

Yes, it was Jordan's Furniture & the owners were very good about it. The people got their furniture or checks in the mail when they paid up front. I know some one that got a few items and they got a check in the mail from Jordan's after that win right away.

It's funny you should ask this, because I was thinking of getting furniture this time around when the promotion started up again, hoping they would win to have them pay it off. BUT it's a good thing I didn't; they lost last night; so all bets are off now with that game plan!
