Default commute Watertown to Marlborough?

I am considering a job in Marlborough. My fiance need to live close to the city.

What is the reverse commute on the Pike like on a regular basis? I work from approximately 9-6.

What would be your estimate of a morning commute leaving Watertown around 8:15 and an evening commute leaving Marlborough around 6?

How backed up do the tolls get? how often?

It depends where in Marlborough..

At 6pm... If you can somehow get onto the Pike without getting on Rt495, you're fine. You can be stuck for 20+ minutes on Rt495. I think the same problem with morning commute... I know between 7:30-8:30am on Rt495 is not fun... not sure about 9am.

Also, the timing of when you go through the watertown rotary traffic to get on/off the Pike is critical. Not sure about 8:15am or 7pm.

Give yourself an hour and fifteen minutes each way.
During very low traffic times it should take 45 to 55 minutes.
