Snow. Not again.
I'm tired of the white stuff. I can't stop imagining a massive flood in my basement when it gets around to thawing.

We're not even in Buffalo or Syracuse. We don't even get the worst wintry conditions.

I just moved to Wisconsin after living in Boston for my entire life. I have to say, though we have much more snow here in inches, wintertime is easier in WI! Because it's so very cold here, the snow is much lighter, not the back-breaking, heavy, wet stuff you get in Boston. And because it's consistently cold, there's no melted brown slush to soak your socks in! So yeah, you are right on to be tired of it. The snow in Boston isn't fun and the cycles of melting are worse.

Yeah and nobody shovels and people park like idiots, it's just a big PIA. Then it ices over and people start breaking bones. More winter fun. My street (short, unpaved road) is like a freaking skating rink. I'm surprised our garbage and recycling even gets picked up.
Wow, Wisconsin!! You do get drifts up there, esp. by the Great Lakes I hear.
Well, this is one happy thing for a recent migrant to miss about Boston!

Bring on the snow. I've got waterproof boots, snow tires and heavy clothes.
I suppose I also have the benefit of living in an apartment complex and having a (more or less) indoor job.
But yeah, snow!

But on the plus side, when the snow melts a bit and it gets into the 30s or 40s, it feels positively tropical!

Well I did see grass for a few days, only to be covered by more of the white garbage today. I'm done with the snow now, time for spring and summer here in western MA.....
