Default Parking near TD BankNorth Garden?

Are there any street parking near TD BankNorth Garden for a Sunday afternoon Celtics game? Trying to be cheap here... So I don't have to pay event parking.

Thanks in advance.

Weekend parking at many of the garages is much cheaper (though I think "event parking" at the Garden is something like $25) than the event rate or weekday rates, but not all of them. Sometimes I park at Dock Square Garage on the weekend (not sure if they have an event rate) or at Government Center Garage.

If you want to park on the street anywhere near the garage you're going to have to be vigilant and give yourself some time (preferably show up WAY early). It can be done, but it may mean circling the block a few times. Also, pay CLOSE attention to signs... if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

If you don't mind walking about 15 minutes, you should have no problem parking on the street in the Financial District on a Sunday (as it's essentially vacant on the weekends). This is what I usually do if I'm driving in town on a weekend (well I used to... I have a "friend" who is a valet at a hotel and lets me use valet slips and park for free in their garage now). If the weather isn't terrible, this may be the best bet.

Good luck!
