I was just curious if someone could clarify what part of Boston MCPHS is in. If you are unfamiliar with it it is on Longwood Ave. near Wheelock, Simmons and College of Art. When looking on a map the word Roxbury is near it but Fenway/Kenmore is also close to it. What would people who live around the area say MCPHS is part of?

I would consider it a part of Longwood Medical Area, but yes it's very close to the area traditionally known as Roxbury. If you are asking this question to indirectly find out more about the safety of the area, I would say it's safe and only getting better as the schools, retail, and new housing continue to develop. The thousands of college students and medical professionals make up the majority of the population.

The Longwood Medical Area and MCPHS is in zip code 02115. That is Fenway/Back Bay's zip code, not Roxbury's which is 02119 (Roxbury Crossing's is 02120). It is somewhat close to Roxbury and especially Roxbury Crossing but its character is totally unlike anything in Roxbury and is not frequented by Roxbury residents except for those who work there and high school students attending Boston Latin School.

I figured it was most likely part of the Fenway area, seeing as that whole College area is called "Colleges of the Fenway". Thanks for the help!
