Hi!

I am looking to buy a condo in Winthrop, but am concerned about the cost of commuting to my job in Roxbury. Ilove my car and want to keep driving to work, but it looks like the easiest way to get to work would be one of the tunnels which would cost about $1000 a year (not looking to be spending that kind of cash if possible as I already pay for parking at work).

Does anyone know if they offer discount tolls for those who commute into Boston for work each day?

Thanks!

Seems you've never driven in Boston, much less during rush hours!
Leave the wheels at home for the weekend and for food shopping. You can catch the Blue Line at Beachmont, transfer to the Orange Line at State St, and be at work within a half-hour (depending on how close to a station you are.)

Hi goyguy...I actually drive to work every day now and am well versed with rush hours It's the cost of the tunnels that I am more concerned about, not the time on the road, as just getting away from Northeastern and away from Columbus can take 15 minutes alone...but thanks for the advice
