Which was terribly tragic and all the more ridiculous because he was from far upstate New York and practically lived closer to Boston than to NYC. The guy didn't care about the Yankees at all. That's when it's gone way too far.

I am caught right in the middle of this, commuting back and forth almost every week. Right now I have NY plates on my car. Due to this incident my friends got me some nice Red Sox magnets to put on it so I avoid "confusion" in Mass. but can avoid hassles in New York. It's silly that it's even an issue, and I feel like a coward removing the magnets halfway through Connecticut, but I don't need slashed tires or a broken skull over baseball.
