We are a late 20's couple that might be moving to the greater Boston area within the next 6 months. I grew up in the metrowest area and went to school in Boston so I am somewhat familiar with the area. My girlfriend went to school in Boston as well but is from out of state. We don't have kids but have 3 dogs, so a decent sized yard is a must. Safety also factors in. We don't need bars/clubs/shopping at our doorstep but it would be nice to have some coffee shops, bookstores, mom and pop restaurants around. It would also be a huge plus if we could avoid any sort of student population(We lived in Allston/Brighton for 4 years and while it was exciting and fun, we are OVER it). We would love to be no more than 30 or so minutes away from Boston/Cambridge. We are pretty mellow and like our privacy. We will be working either in Boston or within the 95 ring. Our budget will be 300k-375 for a single family home. If you need more info please let me know! Any ideas?

Thanks!

There is an awesome dogpark at the Middlesex Fells Reservation in Medford. We lived in Malden and loved it. I recommend Malden, Medford, Arlington, etc.
