We probably have the WORST weather in the country. I'm sick and tired of this constant rain, clouds, humidity - like the god forgot about us.

Almost the end of June - and most of the month it was raining, cloudy, crappy weather over all.

Good thing is I'll be moving to Vegas soon - where weather is nice 24/7.

Who else is sick of this damn weather ?

The rain is good, and will end tonight. The desert is death, and will always be death.

Worse weather has to be in Southern Texas right now.

Extreme drought... all grass is YELLOW. We are on water restrictions, meaning we can only use hoses on 1 day of the week. I bet you've never heard of this living in Boston.

It was 103 today, with dreadful humidity and burning sun rays. Las Vegas has dry heat, but it can still get up to 112. Have fun with that. Water is in high demand with dwindling supply over there.

I'm still waiting for proof regarding the over-the-top murder statistics you made!

the vast majority of the country is stuck in this weird weather pattern. it was dreary and rainy in Chicago for the vast majority of June. yesterday was sunny and over 90 degrees, today started out nice and 90+ only to drop several degrees and torrential down pours started. MA will experience a similar warm up soon and w/ all the rain in June, will hopefully not experience a major drought. I'd rather live in an area w/ 4 seasons and reliable rainfall than in a godforsaken desert a few degrees cooler than Hell

but please, if you hate the weather here, go (finally!) move to Vegas, where you'll be relying on irrigation, the economy is in a tail spin, and the crime is worse. but hey, brothels are legal there.

Actually, brothels aren't legal in the county Las Vegas is in. But yeah, the economy is worse. Let's hope the OP has a stable job lined up.

eevee is right, the weather has been bad all over. I've been reading about cloudy skies all over the country and all over the world lately. My brother in Johannsburg, South Africa told me it was raining there the same time it was raining in Chicago and Boston. It's been pissing everybody off, you're not alone.

Hope you have a stable job lined up. Even before the recession it was kind of tough for many people to get a non-Casino related job. Not trying to be negative but realistic. I envy you about the sun. Many times a gloomy day doesn't bother me but I tend to miss the sun when it's gloomy for days on end. I'm saving up to move from the Midwest to Boston by the end of September. Can't wait to be near the Atlantic Ocean and all those sexy college girls. Ironically, I was considering Vegas for all the reasons you're tired of Boston but I fear I'd have a tough time getting work there than Boston.

All in all, if things don't work out for you in Vegas and you have to ditch it, you might want to leave the country entirely for a country with more pleasant weather. The cultural experience might do a bit of good. Too many Americans limit their choice of residency to only the US or other English-speaking countries, when there's a whole world out there that might be better for them.

The heat here in Austin is so unbearable, that I can't stand it. It was 112 the other day! I figured if I have to deal with unbearable weather, I might as well be living in Boston where my whole family is. And that is why I'm moving back.

Don't worry summer will be here by 4th of July and then gone by end of August. We will be looking at cold and snow soon enough. I've said the real seasons here run...summer (July 1st to Sept 1st), fall (Sept 2nd-Nov 1st), Winter (Nov 2nd-April 1st), and Spring (April 2nd - June 30th).

I was in Texas recently and it was in the high 90's and I can say it wasn't that bad. Its not as humid as it is here when it is in the 90's here. The same as the Carolinas, the 90's there isn't as bad. I'll take more summer over more winter anyways.

Honestly, I've loved the mild summer weather that we've had so far. 60's and slightly overcast is fine with me. And I haven't needed to water my lawn either which is another bonus. But I'm not a beach bum/sun worshiper type.
