Agreed. I love it. I've challenged friends to "Navigation-offs" where we've left at the same time for the same place and I've used Waze and they've used their in-dash or Garmin unit. I haven't lost. It's the nerdiest victory ever, but Waze mostly does a good job at finding the quickest route.

I know the Sawmill River Parkway "shortcut" but I still prefer the "northern route" ala I84, I81, I77, I26, I95 route.

Use the app Waze. It will beat any recommendation. I hope you have another driver because I can't imagine driving 18+ hours is healthy or safe...

For those of you who say that you take I-95 all the way, if you all use the Delaware Memorial Bridge, which I assume many of you do, you technically aren't taking I-95 all the way.

Well... yeah. Technically. 95 awkwardly leaves the NJ park to circuitously loop out into Central Philadeplphia before rejoining "295" just on the other side of the DelMemBr. It's a few miles where you're not technically on 95, but it's still the most direct route.

It takes about 20 hours to drive there. Why do you need to take 3 days? It should take 2, max.

With kids, I'd probably stay somewhere in SC.
