Grocery stores (Boston, Boylston: price, shop, Whole Foods)

Are there any reasonably priced grocery stores within a mile of Boston Commons?

There is a Shaw's about 1/2 of a mile away from the Common. There is also a Trader Joe's on Boylston about 1 mi away.

these obviously aren't grocery stores, but you could always check out Haymarket and/or any farmer's market that comes through the Haymarket/Government Center area. no packaged goods, but plenty of produce and meats

The closest grocery store to Boston Common is a Whole Foods in the Charles River Plaza but I wouldn't consider Whole Foods to be an economical supermarket. Too bad, that location used to be a Stop and Shop, which was more economical. There was mention that Stop and Shop would open another store in the same area but nothing has progressed as of yet. The only other close by supermarket is the aforementioned Shaws near the Prudential Center.
