I have done a lot of real estate searching online. We are researching moving to either of these towns to get out of Boston, and get a little more bang for our buck than we are currently getting closer to the city. Spouse commuting via North Station. Seen a lot of RE online so have a sense of what we will get there, but I would be soooo appreciative if someone could weigh in with what each town is like/how they are different.

We have small kids- almost school age. We live in the city now so do like to get out a lot though know the trade off of the north shore will be worth it for us. One other consideration is that we are getting some special ed services for one of our children so am looking for anyone that has any experience good or bad dealing with special services/IEPs in these towns.

Saw an old post in the archives but its a few years old. What are the good school neighborhoods/elem school districts in these towns too. I need to narrow down the searching a bit. Thanks so much- any guidance much much appreciated!!!
