Cuz they have the grossest fast food on the market. At first I liked Sonic, but not long after I developed a distaste for their food - especially the burgers. And those damn burger buns - ewww - taste like gop. I love fast food but I haven't eaten there in a year. Bleack!

I will give kudos for their limeades though.

Well, why would you need a Sonic in Boston as most people take public transportation. Sonic is a drive-thru place. It will do well out in the suburbs like in Peabody where the wait is ridiculous. I've been down south enough to get my sonic fix.

I also agree the limeades are great. Some of the food is pretty good. I really enjoy chik-fil-a though. That place is great.

Sonic Foot Long Chili Cheese Dogs with Cheese Tater Tots. YUMMMMMMMMM.

I miss Sonic. There was one a few blocks away from my house in Austin. Peabody is too far for me to drive. boo! Hiss!

I also miss Whataburger. Damn, Whataburger has the best burgers and fries anywhere.

Yes, that's what we need more of, fast food joints, a little more grease for the arteries.

Or you could go get a salad at all these places that try pushing those down your thought. What people don't realize is the salads are worse than most other food on the menu.

I lived in Austin for a little while too, there were 2 sonics Very close to me. mmmmm, agreed on the Chili cheese dogs. But Whataburger was HORRIBLE, I tried it a few times and was very disapointed every time. I would go to chick-fil-a more then anything though.

There are a couple of things I miss from Austin, and conveniently located Sonics are one of them(I miss disc golf courses much more though!). Things I dont miss are Whataburger, Waffle house, lonestar beer and having to drive everywhere.

I liked Carl's Jr. for fast food. I hated Sonic (still do, the slushies taste like salt-licks to me). While the one on Route 1 in Peabody is popular, the drive-in culture isn't a big New England thing. Even at that Sonic, the drive-thru seems much busier than the drive in stalls.
