Default What information would newcomers like about area schools?

Good morning,

I often hear from newcomers to the area that there's a dearth of information to compare school systems. I thought I'd do an informal poll to find out:

- What information would be helpful for parents to know about a school system they're considering?

- If you had access to the school superintendent or a teacher in the school system, what would you want to ask them?

I'd love to hear thoughts from the City-Data community!

I'd like to know about student/teacher ratios, technology access for the kids, teaching theories used in classroom, and thoughts on teaching theories as fact.

I'd ask about discipline codes, safety, diversity, and class size.
