I am wondering about jobs in Boston. Live in Worcester. The trains would keep me to a strict schedule and not provide the time flexibility I would need. Anyone on here make this commute for work? How long does it take? What time in the morning would be best to leave in order to get in by 8AM. I know I would have to change certain things like make my lunch the night before and don't eat breakfast at home before I leave. I have not even considered how or where I would park or the cost but if anyone could offer insight into that also during the woek week that would be appreciated.

Thanks

Okay, The best one for you may be either the 5:40 or the 6:05, the ride is about 1:45, It may be long, but many Worcester people do make the ride. Parking can be at either the Union Station Garage, which may offer a monthly rate?(not entirely sure) Or there is the Lots under the expressway, they are $1 A day. Union Station has a small Cafe inside, and there are many food options at South Station. I do not make the commute everyday but I have ridden the train from Worcester many times, but beware:The Worcester Train is notorious for being late.
