Getting some nutcracker tickets and wondering if anyone has been to suggest best seats for price at the Boston Ballet. Is being two rows closer worth another $20 - $25?

Mezzanine Center J109/107's going for $90
Mezzanine Right L6/8 for $65
Mezzanine Right M14/16 $45

Have no clue what this means and can't really tell anything from their seating chart. Thanks

I understand your dilemma. Most of the seating charts used by the ticket agencies are deliberately vague - the better to rip you off with.

Here is a link to a real seating chart. It shows every seat, and you may have to enlarge it a bit to make the numbers out. They are a bit fuzzy. The important thing to note is that in the Mezzanine, all the seats are numbered odd or even. That is 101-103-105 are next to each other, as are 2-4-6-8.

IMHO, the seats you listed are all good, the more expensive ones being closer to the middle, but being on the sides doesn't really matter very much. The Nutcracker is not a symmetrical ballet, like Balanchine. If you bring youngsters, bring a pillow to raise them up a bit.
