Default Foxboro?

Does anyone know anything about Foxboro? How are the public schools? We are moving from Los Angeles and looking for the right community. Want to be somewhere where there are young children (we have 2 1/2 year old and 11-month-old) and great schools with shopping, restaurants, library, parks close by.

Thank you!

The schools are pretty good. Here's a link to the latest MCAS scores where you can see where each district ranks: http://www.boston.com/news/education/k_12/mcas/

Foxborough is not all that large though. There isn't really much in the way of shopping in the town. There will be a new mall of sorts built adjacent to Gillette Stadium on Rte 1 containing several new restaurants. Most people drive to Braintree or North Attleborough or Providence for shopping at the big retail stores.

How did you hear about the town?

I think the town you pick depends a lot on whether you'd prefer a more bustling city feel or more rural, where you'll be commuting to, and what your price range is. Fortunately there's a lot to pick from! :-)

Default Foxboro

I lived there for a few years, before moving to Southern CA. Kids at the time were 6 and 8, so I can answer your questions regarding the town and schools.
