Does anyone remember when Manny Ramirez cut off the ball from the centerfielder? I sawr it on sports center and it was the funniest thing I've ever seen! Does anyone know how to find that clip on the internet? I love Manny! GO SOX

One of my favorite Manny moments. That one and when he caught the homerun ball from i believe miquel cairo in the bronx. He waited for cairo to trot around the bases and slap 5's with everyone, then showed everyone he had the ball.

Haha, that's hilarious.

But I have to say, Boston and their craze for the Red Sox drive me nuts. I want to gag myself the first time I visited a month ago. And it's not good they're doing well this season either. Not a Yankees fan but I think I hate the Red Sox more, at least their fans.

It won't help that I'll be going to school right in Fenway.

I think it is great that they are doing so great. Boston is as the Red Sox go!
Go Boston! No hard feelings, but maybe Roger might help N.Y.? for the price N.Y. did pay!

Manny had to play the cutoff man in that throw because Damon was throwing, and throws like a 2 year old.

I'm a red sox fan, but i completely agree that there is a "craze" which is a little too much. It is one thing to enjoy your home team, but some red sox fans are over the edge. I'm a bigger Patriots fan because i enjoy football better.

Where you headed to school? northeastern?

I'm heading almost the same way, I'll be in BU this fall for grad school. I've always liked the Red Sox though, so it won't be a problem for me at all!

Wentworth, right next to an all girls school, Simmons. It is a fun area, just avoid the Cask N' Flaggon during or around red sox games. It is right down the road and a huge red sox hang out.

I always enjoyed the visiting fans when they stopped in though. I met a lot of really nice St. Louis Cardinal fans about 4 years ago at the Cask when the cardinals were in town. The sox beat them quite bad, but they were in an excellent mood and very good sports.
