Default Cheap Temporary Housing

Hello all!

I'm starting a new job in Louisville in mid July and the rest of my family is moving out in mid August. I'm in need of a cheap place to stay until they get here. I found Intown Suites that are super affordable (quality to be determined) but they're a bit far for dealing with traffic to Louisville from the Denver area.

Denver Extended Stay Living | Denver Short Term Apartments | Denver Temporary Housing

Sadly, these guys don't have operations in Boulder but I'm looking for something comparable. I found a Hostel that has private rooms that you can rent out for a month at a time but it has shared bathrooms that recommend you wear flip flops when you shower. So I'll probably pass on that (I'm sure it's a great place but that's just not for me).

I'd like a suite like place that I can just crash, cook some leftovers and watch TV and kill some hours on the laptop online. All for around 200 or so a week. Anyone know of anything?

Thanks!

Congratulations! Be sure to tell us how you like it once you've been there a bit. I'm wondering, what field are you in?

Thanks! I'm in the Game Industry as a Designer.

I tried the Longmont place and it looked great until I contacted them. Those rates are only for unfurnished places with 3 month min leases being signed. The furnished ones go for 1675 a month. Eek.

I may end up doing the one south of Denver and sucking up the commute for a few weeks. The price can't be beat. So far at least.

Please update us on what you find. I will be making a similar move (new job in Louisville as well) in August and looking for a cheap temporary housing situation.

Cheers.
