Hello,
I’m looking for information, insight or opinions on Niwot. We’re considering moving there from Denver to be closer to my husband’s work (he’s sick of the hr drive). I haven’t spent a lot of time in Niwot. I've been there twice to look at a house and walk around town. It seems like a nice little place, but I don't live there yet. I’m wondering if anyone can share with me their experience moving to Niwot, likes, dislikes, etc. Did you find it easy to meet people or do folks mostly keep to themselves? Any information you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!!

Niwot is great, close to Boulder with a bit of a country feel, a cute tiny downtown with some surprisingly good food, historic homes, older homes on big lots and brand new homes... also nice views. Additionally, Niwot offers excellent schools. I get the sense people are tight-knit and take pride in their community. If I could afford it, I'd much rather live in Niwot than Denver but I am partial to areas close to Boulder and specifically living in an area with access to excellent public schools.

Niwot is a wonderful community with great schools and beautiful countryside and views. A bit quieter and more conservative than nearby Boulder. They have community Dinners (Lobster Bash, Jazz festival etc.) Great trails and nice smaller shopping district, close to shopping in Longmont or Boulder and a nice sense of community, Homes from the high 300's to artistic mansions in the millions. Would be a nice move from urban Denver.
