Louisville is a great place to live and retire. Housing starts at around 300 to 400k for modest single family homes and nicer condos start around 170k. Cost of living is not too bad and many fun events and neighbors, great trails and shopping.

Thank you all for the informative responses. My daughter lives in Denver proper, but didn't have a lot of info about Louisville as relates to retired people. We are not big-city people so I like the idea of a small-town atmosphere. It sounds as if there are a lot of smaller city options in the area. Thanks again.
