I am thinking about moving to Evergreen. Looking at the soda creek area or the Grand Preserve. Any info. about Evergreen would be helpful. I am new to Colorado and had a job in Boulder that I turned down because of all the freaks and high horse liberals.

Bah ha! You're funny. I lived in Evergreen for a short time but didn't get to know the place too well because I was busy commuting to Centennial to get to work.
My instincts tell me that Evergreen is not very liberal. I don't recall seeing many people sniff their own farts and sipping wine and driving their hybrids and bicycles everywhere. You go to the Little Bear and you've got good old A$$ kickin booze drinkers and Harleys. The way a Colorado mountain town SHOULD be. |

Since when does drinking wine, driving a hybrid or riding a bicycle make one a liberal? And, what's wrong with any of those qualities (excluding fart sniffing, of course)? I guess I need someone to clarify for me what being "liberal like Boulder" really means.

You need to watch South Park. The episode wear Kyle and his family move to San Francisco and the Smug Cloud that generated from San Francisco merged with the Smug Cloud from George Clooney's acceptance speech meet up with the Smug Cloud from South Park to form a Smug Cloud SuperCell!
I don't think it's a stretch to refer to Peoples Republic of Boulder to be a liberal place. That was my point. |

I've never wanted to live in Boulder (a little too pricey for me), but I've always thought of it as a nice place with some amazing views. Any relevant thoughts about Golden? |

Boulder is the most liberal town in Colorado. I would compare it too San Fran. Anways, just wanted too make sure that Evergreen wasn't full of liberals that think humans evolved as Darmin believes. We are wine drinkers and love our beers too. Love to ride bikes but enjoy our Range Rover on snowy days. We are Republicans and don't want too be overcome by faithless liberals.

Seriously, what is it about Boulder that offends so many people who frequent these boards?

Boulder is great for the most part. Neat little shops and great hiking. The problem with boulder is that it is over run by liberals since the 60's. When I was considering on buying there I spent a few days there. When I drove around I could not believe how many homeless and the amount of trailer parks there are.
