Default Cable vs satellite

We just moved here from out of state and bought a house in Longmont...need some opinions on whether to go cable or satellite. We will have multiple tv's in the house, must have DVR! Any recommendations or better yet, who is avoid at all costs!
And how about Internet connections?

We've never had cable for t.v. - we did at one point have Dish. The one thing that was a pain is getting the snow off....

We don't do either now and just use free over the air which works great. As far as internet - we've used both Comcast and now currently Century Link. I would imagine you'll get a bundle deal if you go with Comcast.

This may not be such a big issue if you're a Broncos fan (and who isn't) - since you get the games on local television, but if for some reason you like to watch other, lesser football teams, you're going to be stuck with DirecTV if you want to view them live. DISH doesn't offer the NFL. I don't think cable does, but maybe I'm wrong about that.
