My wife and I are moving to the area mid-May, and are planning a trip mid-March to go look at houses/apartments and sign a lease. I have spent a good 12 hours this weekend looking at different apartment complexes and property management companies. Where are all of the reputable ones? It seems as soon as I make some bookmarks of places I like, I look up the reviews for the complex/company and it is nothing but bad (or there are a dozen similarly worded fake 'positive' reviews all posted in the same week).

I am looking for a place anywhere around Westminster. Could anyone point me to reputable property management companies around there? I just want a safe, clean, quiet place.

I can't say anything about Westminster, but if you've looked at ones in Boulder, the reason is because many of the apartments are designed for students, and they treat you as such: somebody who needs an apartment with very few choices.

We have a whole fat thread on Boulder landlords, just use our search tool to find it; it's quite interesting.

This the one you were thinking of Mike?

Boulder Landlords And Property Managers Unwelcoming

Edit: Meh, I read it, not sure it is what you were thinking about, but it was one of the longest threads in the Boulder forum about landlords.
