Default Boulder Private Schools

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has information regarding specific private schools in Boulder. I was especially interested in The Friends School and the Bixby School. We have contacted the schools, planning visits, but any inside info would be great. Also checking into public schools but I love the low student to teacher ratio that we have now in our private school. Anyone have a favorite public school and why? Thanks in advance.
Wendy

Ok, so far no input regarding private schools. We are a bit overwhelmed even by the public schools in Boulder. Lots of areas with high test scores, but anyone with an inside scoop????????? Do you have a favorite public elementary school in Boulder and why? Thanks!!!!!!!

Default school reviews

Hi Idahomom, I understand feeling overwhelmed...go to www.greatschools.net and put in Boulder it will list the schools and it also offers reviews from parents - that's the unique and great part. Not on every school, but on many. I've found it helpful.

Default Private Schools in Boulder

Hi Wendy,

You probably have already found a private school for your children. However, if anyone else is trying to make a decision about the Boulder private schools, you might give Choosing a Private School in Boulder (PrivateSchoolsBoulder.com) a try. We have a long list of questions that you might want to ask the private schools to get the information to make a good decision for your family. When I was choosing a private school, I didn't know all the questions to ask! Although we don't have specific information about the local Friends' school, we do have information about the local Waldorf schools, in case that helps, as well as links to the independent schools in Boulder County.

I went to the Longmont Academy for Private school. It allowed me to excel and complete high school early. In fact my first 2 years of college were review of the material I'd already complete in private school, some of it as far back as second grade (algebra).
