Is The Gold Hill Inn still gold standard?
Just wondering. Planning a birthday dinner there, or somewhere like it.
Thx.

Wrong place to ask this kind of question, I guess, since most posters here haven't been here long and don't know much about the area yet.
We went anyway and it was excellent. The owner's kids are running the place now, and doing a fabulous job. Kids hell-they're my age, middle age...
Anyway, all in attendance loved the evening there. Highly recommended.

Sorry I wasn't around to answer, but glad that you went anyway. It is one of our very favorite places- we even had our wedding reception there. You should get up there for the blues barbeque- so much fun!

This is going to sound totally wimpy I'm sure but how is it driving back down to Boulder from Gold Hill at night? I've driven up and back during broad daylight, but with the Inn only open in the evenings, that's put me off going there for dinner. Altho I'm willing to give it a try!

We've never given it a thought other than to have a designated driver, which we do whenever we're driving to dinner. Watch out for the deer.

The Gold Hill Inn is excellent - great food, great wine and on many nights great music. Well worth the drive if you are in the area.
