CrossCountryWithKids is on a distinguished road
Default Family friendly apartments while house hunting?

My pregnant wife (4.5 months), 4 kids (5 and under), dog, and I are moving to Colorado the first week in June and are looking for an apartment in a family-friendly area while we shop for a home. I will be working in Longmont for the rest of this year and then, possibly, in Broomfield. We hope to purchase or build within 6 months so, we were thinking a short-term lease increment (3 month leases?) on a two bedroom >1000 sqft.

I was wondering if anyone could provide feedback on apts in the Westminster area. Family friendly? Clean? Shopping? Commute to Longmont? etc.

A few apartments we are considering are:
The Estates at Tanglewood (Westminster)
The Village at Legacy Ridge (Westminster)
The Village at North Hills (Northglenn)

Thanks! These forums are proving invaluable!

I would see if you can find a month to month rental of a house or townhouse in Superior.

When we first moved here we lived at the Horizons at Rock Creek in Superior. We have 2 kids 12 and 14 and I must say the facilities were very nice while we house hunted. We ended up buying in Louisville.
