You're welcome. Sorry I didn't acknowledge this sooner. I was away for a few days when this was posted.

No problem. Obesity is an issue, not just in certain areas of the states either. Seems to be encroaching on other countries too:

WOW! I always thought Florida was like Miami Vice or even Baywatch, lots of thin, healthy active, outdoorsy people.

Im not being judgmental at all, just stating facts. i have been a medical professional for years now, love my job and its ridiculous for anyone to even mention that we would treat or not treat based on the pts. weight- this is not even the issue. i am just tired of living where people getting bigger and bigger and had rather sit on the couch and eat doritos rather than go for a hike or bike ride. and yes, i have lived in the south for 41 years and its time to move on.

HEY FLORIDAEXHAUSTION
What specifically has exhausted you w.r.t. (with respect to) the Sunshine State? I surmise from your post it is the brutal heat, poor schools, and job climate. Awaiting your reply.

The reason for my move is that I got laid off from my job in Tampa. I read somewhere that the Tampa Bay area has the 2nd worse economy in the country!! I am staying with family in Atlanta, GA so I can save up as much money as possible before I move. The weather is just too hot and humid for me in FL and the pay and the economy sucks. During the summer months the humidity is unbearable and unless you are sitting in a pool or at the beach, you sweat just standing still!! Plus growing up in Michigan and moving away from the snow, I actually miss it... A LOT!

Moved from Milford 10 long months ago! I never thought I would say this but I miss the snow too! The endless heat and humidity is too much for me. A cloudy day is a treat! Just spent 4 days inside while Tropical Storm Fay stalled over us. Good luck with your plans to move to Colorado!
