Hello, just moved here in july and are loving colorado. we love the month of october and love celebrating halloween. we have a two and 1/2 year old boy. back in michigan we took our son to greenfield village and the zoo and the campground to celebrate halloween and we would go to the clubs. where is a fun place to go that has halloween events in october for kids? we already are planning to take him to boo at the zoo and the kidsfest at the aquarium. are there any other fun kids events in boulder also we wanted to know what adults do for fun on halloween? parties or events to go to? please let me know. thanks. we are in brighton so anything close to there would be great.

LOL! My DD went to college in Indiana. In late October, she asked some of her friends from IN when it would start to snow. They looked at her as if she were crazy (so she tells it)!

Default How about the Naked Pumpkin Run ??

The Naked Pumpkin Run seems to be a big hit with the "take your clothes off in public" crowd around there.

I don't think too many kids participate.

If you do want to expose your buttocks or "evil dangerous and hideous private areas" in public there, better do it in a semi-official group setting like this. If you try it alone, you will be brutally taken down by the police and thrown in the clink. But if you go on the "World Naked Bike Ride" in Boulder, for example, you can show your anus in traffic all around Boulder, and in such a setting, apparently, then it's just okay and hunky-dory with the Boulder cops and City Council.

Yep, this world just still don't make any sense !!

Default Pumpkin patches

There are quite a few places around where you can pick out a pumpkin or run through a corn maze, etc. My neighbors and their toddlers (and my husband and I) went to the Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Ranch, and the kids had a great time! There was a petting zoo which I'm ashamed to say I may have enjoyed as much as the kids.

Here's their website: ROCKY MOUNTAIN PUMPKIN RANCH
