Eastlake looks to have 10 inches of snow and the winds are going to pick up at 3 pm.

Just heard that westbound 36 is still closed at McCaslin (as of 3:15 pm).
We have a foot of snow up here. It has really tapered off in the past hour though.

snowing again in Longmont, but the streets are pretty much all clear now....I shoveled ~1ft a couple hrs ago here in the middle of town

it was just slop on Hwy 36 North of Boulder...they have the roads in pretty good shape around this area, from what I can tell

jkcoop: I hope your concert is still on for tonight. Hopefully the road conditions have improved!
It's snowing lightly up here. Last measured 12.75" at 5 pm. I was hoping for at least 18", but I'll take this.

We went! When we left the gps said one hour and we chuckled...well, it really only took just over an hour! There really was no traffic heading down into Denver. We were then worried coming back because it would be late and really icy.

Since it continued to snow down in Denver most of the evening, the roads were more snow packed which was better than our drive down into Denver. It didn't take us any longer to get home - no many on the roads at 11:30pm/12am - but more than you would think.
