Default Job market for fitness/personal/nutrition trainer in Boulder/Louisville

Sounds like a funny question to me *LOL* I'm a bit of a fitness freak, would love to do it for a living. I've been giving it some thought. No problem I could get clients lined out the door here in Chicago (no shortage of overweight ppl looking for some help). But in Boulder, a town known as the mecca of outdoors and fitness (Colorado was rated most fit state in the U.S.) is there any market for this? I would tend to think that folks are doing just fine on their own

you'll be a tiny fish in a big pond...I'd plan to get at least a part time job to help support yourself as you try to start a business, as fitness trainers are a dime a dozen out here, and I don't know of too many that are making tons of money at it...and you need a good amount of money to afford Boulder!

Just my recession-adjusted $.0000000000002

Job while getting started is in the bag. I am an engineer, and earn a good salary. My company allows remote workers so I could do a smooth transition while I get started. My bigger question is, is there a market for it? Are their trainers/nutrition ppl there now? And how are the GOOD ones doing - i.e. not the average Joe. Thanks!

If you do a Google search you will find many in the area. Every gym and fitness center has them too. I think competition would be fierce.

I don't think you could make as much as you do as an engineer for a long, long, time, if ever.
