WE, the NATIVES (not some wanna be such as yourself) like our state. You don't? Oh well.
Conservative states do tend to have greater drug problems than liberal states. Arizona, Utah, Nevada, and New Mexico have some of the highest drug use in the US because of a lack of education and proximity to the border. Yes, California has drug problems, mostly Southern California, which is very conservative and closer to the border.

You in AZ not only don't like gay marriage, you are one of only a handful of states in the West to not even have a statewide ordinance -- to protect gays from discrimination in housing and at work.

Arizona could go bankrupt, along with California, because Smart Growth has created a housing crisis in BOTH states, with resulting unemployment and decreased tax receipts.

Again, why do you keep following me on city-data from -- from what I imagine is a nice fancy ranch among the Saguaros near the shooting range near Gold Canyon, AZ? We'll never agree so why follow? I've camped in your area in Apache Junction, and watched all the tweakers roam the streets. I did not feel safe there.

I never try to change anyone's mind. It's a free country. You like conservative, regressive economic and social policies, and I don't. I looked through some of your posts -- you want office visit co-pays for $100, and prescriptions to cost up to $50 per script.

Whether "lock and load" on your profile refers to your your guns and your favorite pastime on weekends in the gorgeous Sonoran desert, or the fact that you do business with a retaining wall company (can't post company names here!), I'm not sure.

On a very serious note, I read about your recent surgeries in one of your posts. I wish you the best in your recovery - take care...

I don't live "near" a shooting range Tom. I have my OWN shooting range outside of my back door. You have not camped near where I live - trust me - you probably would have severe difficulties with the the Javelinas (I have had to shoot and kill several in the last few months.

Lock and load is my motto (and one of my license plates reads the same) is comensurate with my belief in carrying my fire arms - on my person, open and concealed, in my car, and my rifle on my motorcycle.
