Default Boulder to Loveland

HI city-data users!
I'm getting a headache trying to find a route from Boulder to Loveland... if anyone has offhand knowledge of how to make the trip I would be eternally grateful!

I have an rtd bus pass through the university at boulder and am heading to loveland for a drum festival in july

I think you'd almost have to get a bus to Denver from Boulder and then to Loveland. The RTD service between Longmont and Loveland is being reinstated but not for quite some time yet. Is there no way you can catch a ride with someone?

I don't know if this is really happening, but there's supposed to be a new service, FLEX, starting June 7. FLEX northern Colorado bus service launches in June | BigGreenBoulder Boulder, CO : BigGreenBoulder

If it's real, it looks like you can take the BOLT to Longmont and take the FLEX to Loveland.

LOVELAND, Colo. (AP) — A bus service linking Longmont, Berthoud, Loveland and Fort Collins is slated to launch June 7.

The FLEX bus service would connect the northern Front Range to the Regional Transportation District’s Denver-area public transportation network.

It would cost $1.25 for a single ride, with service Monday through Saturday. FLEX plans to operate three buses powered by compressed natural gas.

Loveland, Longmont, Fort Collins, Larimer County, Boulder County and Berthoud are partners in the project. Loveland has secured $1.2 million in federal grant money to help cover costs.

Loveland public works director Keith Reester says the project expects a ridership of 24 passengers an hour in the first year.

I have to chime in with the FLEX bus! Service begins tomorrow, I believe. It's supposed to travel all the way from Boulder to Fort Collins, via Longmont and Loveland!

Good luck!

We do like to be useful around here, so we’re glad to see that someone linked to us in trying to solve some commute worries. The case in question involved a Boulder-to-Loveland trip and, as of today, that trip became a one-transfer trip (or maybe two if you’re starting from somewhere difficult in Boulder).

The RTD FLEX bus starts service today. Here’s the FLEX bus schedule (PDF).

A quick picture from the Loveland Reporter-Herald of what a FLEX bus schedule might look like for a commuter (shift the hours back a touch for a “normal” commute):
Funny, this article about FLEX service starting today links back to my post above, that linked to their article a few days ago about the soon to start FLEX service.
