At least Manny is fighting younger, bigger men...not ex-girlfriends.
You're awfully sensitive! And your point is null and void since Floyd has also fought younger, bigger men recently....

I started this thread because I know there are some big Pacman fans on this board, I was just surprised that there were no threads on this PPV fight. Just because I wasn't interested in this farce, doesn't stop me from asking other boxing fans their opinion.

You just need to admit that Manny fought a bum last night! I'll just say that I will be equally uninterested if Floyd fights Khan.

If Mayweather-Pac don't fight next, then we are looking at Pac-Jessie Vargas and Floyd-Khan/Alexander. Both of those fights would suck.

No, not sensitive at all. Just a little tired of guys who claim to be fans of boxing, when in reality they are strictly fans of one fighter. You can hate on Manny all day long, I really don't care. I'm happy to watch and enjoy his fights and appreciate him for who he is in and out of the ring. If you are content with Mayweather, good for you. I guess you'll only be a "fan" of the sport for another year until he hangs up the gloves.

While Algieri certainly isn't a world class fighter, he had just as much right to be there on the world stage as Maidana, Guerrero, Ortiz, and other fighters who appeared out of nowhere and were launched to the top of the food chain by promoters/managers and PR teams.

I'm not sure Jessie Vargas is going to be in the running after his performance last night. I like Vargas, he's a good boxer, but if a slow DeMarco coming up from light weight can bust his face up, I don't think he does very well against Pacquiao. But, like anything else today, it's all about ownership. Take a look around 140/147 and see who owns most of the talent. Haymon wants to groom the next undefeated media sensation, so he isn't about to put D. Garcia or Keith Thurman's "0" at risk. It's a shame better fights can't be offered because of greedy or corrupt promoters and managers (that goes for both Arum and Haymon). If Manny drops to 140 I'd much rather see him fight Danny Garcia (Haymon won't allow it), Mikey Garcia, or Crawford, who in my opinion is the best at 140 right now.

Correct! I don't know Freddie Roach. Do you?

It was a great fight which I dearly enjoyed paying for and sharing the moment with family.

Manny is a multi-dimensional fighter with an immense amount of differing arrows in his quiver.

Awesome fight/fights!

Great card!
