If Floyd fights Cotto instead of Manny that is it i lose all respect for him. There is no reason why he wouldn't. Fight him. Both dont have any contract with other fighters so what are you waiting for floyd?
Now he releases a video of talking to Manny in a hotel. Then put rhe whole bideo up then!
Both donít have any contract with other fighters but Manny still does have a contract with Bob Arum. Look what most guys that were under Bob Arum had to do to fight Floyd. They had to leave him while Manny chose to sign with him again. Which I donít understand. Being the guy who he is, why not promote himself? Even guys like Amir Khan promotes himself instead of being someoneís puppet.
Real videos or not Floyd has been looking for Manny wherever he is to talk about making the fight happen. I remember all the drama as well to make the De La Hoya vs Mayweather fight as well but this one seems to be taking more time.

Yes he is. Doesnít have the best defense out there. He rarely ever leaves a fight with a clean face like Floyd. And your response can also be applied to Manny. He has not faced anybody as good as Floyd. And that is why this fight is something we all want to see. The best two fighters facing each other.

Why does he have to leave bob arum? Why? Just cause Mayweather says? What if Pac leaves but Mayweather still wont fight him? Mayweather has shown he says one thing but npt the other, tell me when has Mayweather actually followed thorough on something? Just fight Manny alrrady!!!!The people want it, he is gonna earn big money, its gonna be good for his legacy, he says he would beat Pac easy...,,then what is he waiting for?!?!?!?

Drug test. Pac agree
Gets more than 50 percent of money, pac agrees
Said he wouldn't fight Pac last year because he is not world champion and lost 2 of his last. 3 fights. Pac is now world champion. And has won 3 of his last 3 fights
Floyd gets MGM and date. Pac agrees

Now what? Its been 5 years already its ridiculous. Pac is more popular. and has a better resume than Maidana,Canelo,Cptto,Guerrero, Ortiz.....really?

Get real

Probably because negotiations don't go as expected and Bob Arum doesn't support Olympic Style Random Blood tests which Floyd likes to have himself and opponent go through. Pac may agree to random blood tests but then Bob Arum comes back saying no way. He did come up with some shady excuses to not take them and still nobody said a thing about it but oh well. If Floyd was the one coming up with those shady excuses you bet people would flame him for it.

Pac is more popular? Check out the PPV #s and tell me who is more popular. Better resume? Fighting guys like Algieri, Rios, Bradley, etc.

Do you think Floyd has a chance of winning?

The overrated Filipino doesn't deserve anything more than 20% of that purse, in my estimation...

Lets all give thanks to Canelo Alvarez for helping to make this fight possible! With Alvarez announcing that he was taking back May and September, Floyd could not possibly generate big PPV numbers fighting anyone else besides Manny. If he chose anyone besides Manny, he had to go up against Alvarez/Kirkland on HBO...his PPV numbers would have taken a huge hit if he chose Cotto instead. He already claimed Khan was a no-go since "no one has ever heard of him", so with his back to the corner and two fights left on his over inflated contract, pressure from CBS/SHO and Haymon, he had no choice but to take this fight.

There is likely a rematch clause for each fighter so they will probably do it twice, providing the first fight is competitive or if it's blemished by some controversy.

Too bad this had to happen when Manny is 38.5 years old. I'm sure he's still great but it would've been better 5-10 years ago.

Horrible opinion, paulie

You really should stick to tennis.

Pretty Boy will flaunt his superior skills and intelligence and handle the overrated Pacquiao with relative ease...
