I didn't think the fight was overly exciting. I do think the judges got it right though.

It was a letdown. Yes, the judges were generally correct. Will elaborate later.

The first live boxing match I've watched since Tyson/Lewis and it was boring. I'm just sooooo glad I didn't pay $100 to see it.

Mayweather's boxing style isn't exactly suited for entertaining viewing, but it gets the job done.

No surprises. The result was as expected.

It was a great win for Usain Bolt, aka mayweather.

He performed exactly as he always does.

When you have zero KO power, you run your @ss off and score a win.

Simple as that.

That was a very unusual performance from Pacquiao. I knew Floyd would win, but I thought it would be a much closer fight.

These are pretty much my thoughts exactly. I would have scored it 116-112 Mayweather; IMO the fight was close until the 8th round, and Mayweather won Rounds 8-11 to solidly win the fight.

My apartment complex had the fight on for free for residents, but we could only get it on one screen (probably about a 50" HDTV) and had no sound. With over 100 people in the room, the full screen wasn't visible for most. (Luckily I'm tall and once another tall guy near the front moved out of the way in Round 5 or 6, I could see most of the screen.)

Here come the crying, complaining, and excuses begin. I think this was a lose lose fight for Mayweather to take. If he lost, everyone would claim that he was a fraud, but if he won, everyone would make excuses about why he didn't deserve too. Manny knew, heck everyone knew, how Floyd fights. Even while knowing that, we were told that Floyd was scared, was a cherry picking fraud, and Manny would knock him out...

Manny and, the trainer of the decade, Freddie both knew what to expect, saw blueprints from other fights where some had a little bit of success against Mayweather, and it was Manny and his trainer's job to overcome this. Cut off the ring. Be aggressive. TKO Floyd... He failed to do so like so many other fighters have in the past.
