OK. Can someone tell me when/what's the next big fight?

It seems like there's nothing on the horizon.

No GGG. No Canelo. No Ward. No Lemiuex.

Whiskey/Tango/Foxtrot?

Default For those living under a rock

  • GGG vs Kell Brook 10SEP
  • Ward vs Kovalev 19NOV

These are the highlights on the horizon. Lomachenko is the one to watch.

Crawford vs Postol July 23rd. It should be a good competitive fight and the biggest test thus far for each of them.

Had one last night. Deontay Wilder stopped Chris Arreola despite a broken hand and possible biceps tear. Very tough man, hope the injuries heal up well.

I agree WTF. Its been quiet since Mayweather retired, but there are large amount of Russians ready to take over. Obviously front and center is GGG. I think he is good but I need to see real competition before I say great. I prefer Kovalev though and he fights Ward in November. I predict a loss for Kovalev.

Last Saturday I watched one hell of a fight between Leo Santa Cruz and Carl Frampton. Even though this was I believe a flyweight contest, it was one of the better fights I've seen recently. Boxing the way it should be. Tremendous determination by both fighters.

This would be a rematch to look for.

Yes it was a great featherweight scrap. A rematch would be great but I think Frampton may be on his way to a match with Rigo. Has potential to be a decent fight if he can catch Rigo and counter effectively.

I have a very hard time appreciating Santa Cruz's style, especially when he wiggles his hand. It's distracting. Plus, each time I've seen him, it as if his handlers were throwing him a tomato can they dug up from the bottom of the heap.

Three great fights in one day....GGG over Brook, Kamegai over Soto-Karass and the P4P best in the sport Roman Gonzalez over Cuadras.
